I have just bought one of these "HP" infrared receivers off eBay -
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/75577722/HP-usb.jpg. What I know so far is
that it's an OEM device and the real manufacturer is Fintek.

I've seen reports of these working but can't work out how to get it working
with my Harmony 600 remote. My harmony remote has been programmed as the
KnoppMyth device because I used to have it working with a serial port IR
receiver but I don't have the serial option any more which is why I bought
this USB receiver. Do I need to change this? I believe that this receiver
works as a UDB HID device so it's expecting keyboard commands. Does that
mean I need to reprogram the Harmony as some other sort of device?
Sorry if I've used the wrong terminology here but I'm very confused about
what needs to be configured to get this working.
