Last night I was trying to track down another DVD issue which I think
is different than stuttering and was switching between videos. I
found one that stuttered really bad just before the menu. It is "A
Christmas Story" and just before the menu is the Warner Brothers logo
screen. This logo screen stutters like crazy before getting to the
menu. My frontend details will follow my email.

Starting the frontend with playback, libav logging I see this:

2012-11-10 07:01:58.916085 I DVDRB: DVD Frame Rate 29.97
2012-11-10 07:01:58.916102 I Dec: Position map filled from DB to: 329
2012-11-10 07:01:58.916118 I Dec: SyncPositionMap prerecorded, from
DB: 1 entries
2012-11-10 07:01:58.916139 I Dec: SyncPositionMap, new totframes:

2012-11-10 07:01:58.917040 E [ac3 @ 0x7f27ce97c000] frame sync error
2012-11-10 07:01:58.917052 E AFD: Unknown audio decoding error
2012-11-10 07:01:58.931015 E VDPAU: Error at

resources to complete the requested operation at this time.)
2012-11-10 07:01:58.931764 E VDPAU: Error at
mythrender_vdpau.cpp:1527 (#23, The system does not have enough
resources to complete the requested operation at this time.)
2012-11-10 07:01:58.940999 E VDPAU: Error at
mythrender_vdpau.cpp:1527 (#23, The system does not have enough
resources to complete the requested operation at this time.)

The VDPAU error goes on for quite a while before the menu starts.
I've got a GeForce 430 so I'd be surprised if the system does not have
enough resources.

Anyone else see anything like this?
