"experimenting" does not constitute a production environment.

It's "wrong" because it's not what it is designed to do. It's like
using a big truck for your daily driver. The truck is designed to haul
things, even though you rarely if ever haul things, but you use it for
your daily commute anyway, not because it's the right tool for the job,
but just because you can.
