Not sure about your particular problem, but just so you know, I've got
2 frontends with GeForce 210's using the VDPAU Normal profile, and
they work just fine on everything from analog SD captures (not sure
what res...480i perhaps?) up to 1080i broadcast and 1080p bluray rips.
Other than the highest quality deinterlacer (2x advanced) the 210 can
handle everything else.
