Funny, I'm also running Mythbuntu 11.10. Here's my /etc/lirc/hardware.conf.
#
#Chosen Remote Control
REMOTE="Windows Media Center Transceivers/Remotes (all)"
REMOTE_MODULES="lirc_dev"
REMOTE_DRIVER="udp"
REMOTE_DEVICE="5001"
REMOTE_SOCKET=""
REMOTE_LIRCD_CONF="mceusb/lircd.conf.mceusb"
REMOTE_LIRCD_ARGS=""
#Chosen IR Transmitter
TRANSMITTER="None"
TRANSMITTER_MODULES=""
TRANSMITTER_DRIVER=""
TRANSMITTER_DEVICE=""
TRANSMITTER_SOCKET=""
TRANSMITTER_LIRCD_CONF=""
TRANSMITTER_LIRCD_ARGS=""
#Enable lircd
START_LIRCD="true"
LOAD_MODULES="true"
My /ir/target setting:
/home/slee> hdhomerun_config 2011D301 get /ir/target
udp://127.0.0.1:5001
I'm pretty sure I tried the machine ip, 192.168.1.2, as opposed to
127.0.0.1. I assume 192.168.184.170 is the IP address of the machine that
your WinTV-DCR-2650 is hooked up to via USB? Do you see output from "irw"
when you hit buttons on your remote as it's pointed at teh WinTV-DCR-2650?
