You can also set it up to catch those types of programs that are back
to back but go a little extra (30 seconds to a minute) late (I'm
looking at you NBC).  I used to have it so The Office would often cut
off about 20 seconds too early but that portion was caught at the
start of Parks and Recreation (You'd have to start the Parks and Rec
episode to catch the end of the office).  Now I set the first one to
end one minute late and the other to start on time.  You have minute
there where you've got two recordings going at once and recording the
same thing.

The one thing I've noticed about this is I get a short corruption in
the video (very pixelated) when the two shows are initially being
recorded.  Still, this is better than having to start watching another
program just to see the ending of another!
