Moasat,
That same tmdb.py query on a MythTV 0.25, Ubuntu 11.10 install works,
with no errors. In case it is a lxml issue on your Gentoo install try
tvdb.py queries (which also uses lxml) and alternate movie queries. That
may give you some leads.
