[mythtv-users] HDPVR/GT430 Skipping Video

So I ive been trying some more things out and it seems more like a A/V issue
rathering than buffering.
The main reason would be if any osd is displayed it can trigger this skipping, i
would expect the video buffer is well established.
Once it starts skipping I let it go and it just doesnt settle, switch the
deinterlacers and it sync's up right away.

OTOH the OP says it only occurs at the start of LiveTV or recordings.
When playing ts containers sometimes take a few moments to "sync" to a
keyframe. They are designed to be started anywhere in the stream, but
I certainly find they can be a bit gltchy when diving in. Could it be
this that you are seeing?
