Are the files accessible to the mythtv backend user?

You could switch to SG by moving the icons to
~backenduserid/.mythtv/channels and changing the channel table to only
contain the filename without path.

The issue is between running mfdb/setup/backend with different user ids
without setting MYTHCONFDIR and the path being stored absolute (local
access) instead of relative (SG access)
