you are not allowed to do that in some jurisdictions, see e.g.

copies."

Its entirely possible he was introduced to digital audio matters by a
law abiding UK citizen :-)

actually it made it a sad day for the music industry which appear to
have lost the fight of making the legal distribution channel as
attractive and well known as the channels of questionable legality.

PS: I don't understand what you want to say with "I.T. professional".
 From my experience that's like saying "the person work in an office"
which says nothing about the qualification and/or level of education of
the person.
