[mythtv-users] livetv stopped working, need help solving.

In my attempt to apply the live tv fix patches to 0.25-fixes, I've
somehow managed to get livetv to not work at all...
I compiled from the mythbuntu sources with the above mentioned
packages, so I was able to remove the files and install the standard
mythbuntu build from their repo, but I'm still having the issue.
recordings still work fine.

I can't figure out why it's not working, any clues appreciated!

I've enabled important,channel,record logging for my backend, are
there any other levels I should try?
