I was using the Nvidia 275.36 drivers because they were identified to me
as the "stable" drivers. However, I updated to the most current 290.10
drivers from ATrpms and I still do not have the additional devices:
$aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC662 rev1 Analog [ALC662 rev1 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 1: ALC662 rev1 Digital [ALC662 rev1
Digital]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
ALSA 1.0.24 is the most current I can find. I've tried the ALSA kernel
drivers on both ATrpms and ELrepo. Both show the same results.
I really think the problem is the missing additional HDMI devices.
Postings from people using other distros seem to say they use one of the
other devices as their output device.
Is there some other source for ALSA drivers or maybe an ALSA
configuration I'm missing?
