That solution is far simpler. Perhaps not as elegant (pop up messages
suck)... but it would be a step closer. I personally like the idea of just
reserving the tuner and playing the recording. If the system needs the
tuner, you will get a prompt to either "release the tuner and continue to
watch this recording" or "keep the tuner and reschedule the pending
recording"
On a side note, it would be AWESOME if those prompts would tell you if the
show it want's to record is airing again at another time so you can make a
better decision.
