I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words. I've always liked the
look of the Mythbuntu theme, but wasn't using it due to some of the
bugs in the 0.25 version. So I decided to fix it. I literally hadn't
done any MythTV theming until a few nights ago, and while starting a
theme from scratch would be a huge amount of work, fixing bugs and
maintaining a current one is pretty easy. Layout is pretty easy once
you look at the XML files. The most difficult part I had was figuring
out the QT stuff (which isn't necessary for layout, but of course I
tried to do the hard stuff first). I probably only worked 2 hours on
the few things I've fixed so far.
If anyone wants to get involved with maintaining this theme, shoot me
an email. If you need to file bugs or have ideas (wishlist bugs) for
the Mythbuntu theme then I urge you to file a bug at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythbuntu since I won't guarentee that I
see the bugs anywhere else.
Thanks,
Thomas Mashos
