[mythtv-users] OSX Issues with 0.25

Hi

  I am updating the Wiki for OSX 10.7 Lion and 0.25.  I downloaded 0.25 Backend from the SourceForge builds and installed it, along with MySQL (v5.1.62)  onto a fresh 10.7 machine.

  Here are the issues I am noticing:

   - MythTV-Setup stops listening to the keyboard.  This appears to happen around the time it tries and fails to communicate with my (nonexistent) Apple Remote.  The issue can be worked around by using Cmd-Tab to find the mouse cursor and clicking, or occasionally by killing and restarting the app.
	
Aside from the UI issues, the setup program appears to properly populate the database.


   - The backend will not start properly.  It has the following messages:

Cannot login to database?

Would you like to configure the database connection now? [no]  2012-04-11 22:10:07.499746 E  Unable to init db connection.
2012-04-11 22:10:07.499761 E  MSqlDatabase::OpenDatabase(), db object is not valid!
2012-04-11 22:10:07.499834 A  Cannot login to database?




This latter problem stumps me.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
