[mythtv-users] Firewire recording problem

Hi,

I am having some trouble with Firewire Recording on OSX with a Motorola 6200
on Comcast in 95003.

I'm running:

It is having typical can't get a LAM lock problems. At first I thought maybe
it was encryption, but I went thru the motorola 6200 debug screen and
confirmed CCI/DRM/5c were off (0x00) for the channel in question (PBS) for
the progam I am trying to record or watch on livetv.

I am seeing the following in the logs:

I tried setting the reset values higher in mythtv-setup (to 220000 even to
experiment) and disabled firewire bus reset. It seems to be ignoring both
and not even using the default of 9000 for the tuner.

I also installed the Apple firewire SDK app and confirmed I could record on
this station fine, confirming it does seem to be a Myth problem. The SDK app
also shows it as copy freely.

Any ideas where to go from here or why the bus reset setting is being
ignored? When I have had this trouble in the past it was that it was just
not waiting long enough for a lock before doing a reset. Is there some place
I can tweak these settings? Manually edit the DB?
