That doesn't make a big difference, most recordings still go to the 
PVR500, only some to the HDHR. Now some recordings even get duplicated 
and recorded on both the hdhr and the pvr.

Yup, I set up ones for PVR500, HDHR, DVBC and DVBT, I connected those 
via program name and callsign but that doesn't seem to help and 
connecting them with xmltv-id doesn't either.

Just so I understand it clearly, it is possible to just use an 
xmltv-grabber based source and use that for both digital and analog? I 
mean, I should in theory be able to use only one source and then connect 
the analog channels with frequencies I setup and digital via scan in 
mythtv-setup? Would I need to scan on every digital card, or just one?
