Well, without more information, the answer is "maybe". I did
occasionally have the need to repair my XFS volume after power outage
or forced reboot. I don't remember loosing any actual data though, but
it was manual and annoying.

I did a quick search and it appears (and I vaguely remember reading
before) that XFS definitely has lower CPU overhead, so on a lower
powered system, it may be advantageous.
