Have you by any chance added an extra disk to a system that was 
already full - and *not* had a clearout of old recordings? If so, 
then that could explain it.

The "min free space" setting applies to each disk - so if the 
recording destination happens to be your new disk, then recordings 
that are on that disk will be get deleted to make room. Since these 
will be newer recordings, you'd see the system deleting new 
recordings in preference to old ones. I don't know what algorithm is 
used to decide where to store any particular recording.

I believe you can move recordings between volumes - so you might want 
to shift some of the older stuff to the new disk. I dare say someone 
else will pop up shortly to say what steps are needed to do that.
