You knowingly violate the mailing list rules (no top posting, no
"rich" markup) yet you expect people to value your opinion?  Can you
explain how outlook physically prevents you from scrolling to the

Nobody is suggesting you randomly edit a theme and "see what happens".
 The purpose of viewing the theme in mythfrontend while you are
editing it is so you can see the rendered page and judge what
adjustments are required to make it look how you desire.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be wasting your precious time trying to
use MythTV then.  MythTV is a known time sink (and that is not a
flaw).

You seem pretty liberal when you are spending the developer's and
theme designer's time.  Why not put your money where your mouth is and
spend your own time to learn how to edit an XML file?
