well thats weird..
looks like one of the updates over-wrote a mythtv setting,
changing/defaulting the mythweb recorded programmes view to show all -
including the temporary livetv recordings.

fwiw, i dont care if mythtv uses the hdd, aslong as it will auto-delete the
files after x period/hdd space is low... which it does - so im happy!

i guess i've just been unlucky recently. my first install was 0.23 > 0.24 a
few months ago. never had any of these issues.
a recent 0.24 update and reinstall makes these issues occur all around the
same time!

so, there is no mythtv issue, more of a user issue ;)
