Does yours have anything similar? My machine also has a pair of DVB-T 
cards with the same CX88 chip and a PVR 350. I have a udev rule that 
makes a link for the (supposedly) S2 card to /dev/dvb/adaptor100.

I'll log in to my friends machine and do the same checks later on today.
