[mythtv-users] mythweb - browsing/playlist generation

Hi

I found on the mythweb wiki page that one can access mythmusic files
via http://hostname/mythtweb/data/music/<artist>/<album>/<track>.

My question is - how does one browse this resource from a music
player, eg vlc or audacious?
I'd like to point the player at http://hostname/mythtweb/data/music/
and discover what is there.
At present I have to construct the url from poking round in the file system;
trying to access the /mythtweb/data/music/ location with a web browser gets me a
403 (forbidden) error.
I hope I'm missing something obvious, which I would be delighted to document...
