With Mythbuntu irexec should be run automatically on login as soon as
any irexec commands are added to your lirc config. This works fine for
me on 10.04
The script that actually does this is /usr/share/mythbuntu/session.sh
(lines 26-33)
If you look at that code, it does a grep for irexec on ~/.lirc/* so as
long as your irexec commands appear there, it should work. If you've
added the irexec commands to the top-level lirc config (~/.lircrc), they
won't be picked up by this script.
