The OHCI 1.1 buffering fixes were included in 2.6.33.  This topic came
up on this list just about a year ago.

I've never found priming to do anything useful, but it appears to
depend a lot on the exact hardware and software involved.

No.  If it works, you get a bit for bit copy of the broadcast signal,
and it doesn't matter if that copy is delivered via P2P or Broadcast
or at 100/200/400Mb/s.  The actual signal will be much slower than any
of those.
