[mythtv-users] gyration remote/keyboard with lircd

I have the gyration remote working with lircd.  It is the only way I have been 
able to get all of the buttons to work correctly.  My issue now is that when 
lircd is running the gyration keyboard does not work.  My mouse works with 
lircd.

lircd starts with these options:  LIRCD_OPTS="-H devinput -d 
/dev/input/by-id/usb-Gyration_Gyration_RF_Technology_Receiver-event-kbd"

These are the available devinput devices:  
usb-Gyration_Gyration_RF_Technology_Receiver-event-kbd
usb-Gyration_Gyration_RF_Technology_Receiver-event-mouse
usb-Gyration_Gyration_RF_Technology_Receiver-mouse

Do I need configuration in lircd to understand the keyboard keys?

My /etc/lirc/lircd.conf is a copy of the one from the wiki.
