Passthrough was never done for two channels audio earlier either. This
isn't a new thing in mythtv.

For technical reasons ; how you decode the file is rather different
when you do not have to decode the audio.

Just like when you have passthrough enabled, if you enable
timestretch, audio is now decoded and you cannot re-enable passthrough
after that. You will have to exit playback and come back again
