Well, I'm glad I didn't say it was impossible!

But it shouldn't happen!...What I wrote concerning priorities would 
properly involve 2 separate recordings....
But the HDHR changed channels..
I suspect the HDHR.

Have you checked the power supply for the HDHR?
Also check that is it using the latest firmware.
Any chance that the HDHR is being affected by stray static electrical 
charges?.
