While many of us believe DRM only exists to control the paying customer,

and should be banned from use, that does not mean we can merely ignore
it. We just have to find (often expensive) ways around it, like using
analog capture which cannot be encrypted.

Very few people use email clients that cannot handle rich text and HTML
mail these days. There are email gateways you can use to reprocess the
email down to plain text, and even the various mailing list archives do
that on their own. This issue is that the only real reason to use rich
text or html is for markup, to use different fonts, different sizes,
different colors.

People who actually care to personalize their email with such crap are
likely going to choose annoying colors and fonts, or huge font sizes,
and are going to be nothing more than a nuisance. In the end, it
provides nothing of real worth, and just makes an unnecessarily large
email, so why bother.

At least your client properly handles threading and populates the
necessary header fields to make that work, which is my personal pet
peeve... :)

The same box could run Linux and MythTV, but video on Linux is really
best done on nVidia hardware, and you may have driver support issue with

the tuner cards you choose. Virtualization really should be avoided if
at all possible.

Well, actually, I usually use colors and such to add my comments in
between others' comments. However, since my client doesn't add the ">"
character, I can't do that without manually typing in the ">"
characters... and I'm really not going to go to that much trouble.

I really don't like it when people have background images and such, but
that's another topic.

The machine will be built with an Intel chipset & CPU, and an nVidia
GPU. Is the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 supported by Myth? The Ceton card
is currently only supported in Windows. There was a mention that there
is a possibility of future support by Myth.

If I really hate Win MCE, I could buy a different tuner that is
compatible with Myth. That way, I've only lost the money spent on that
one tuner card. If I decide to try to virtualize the machine, I should
be able to partition the hardware so that Linux only sees the tuners
that I want it to see, correct?
