[mythtv-users] backend segfaulting

i just updated to the latest version of myth available from debian
multimedia repos. mythbackend version:  [v0.24.1+]

i was able to get the backend and frontend to briefly work, but the backend
keeps segfaulting.

i searched the web for a solution, but have found none.

dmesg shows the following:

mythbackend[7933]: segfault at 50 ip b58b2c6c sp bfa06c40 error 4 in
libQtCore.so.4.7.1[b5847000+29d000]

i'm running mepis 11, which is based on debian 6, 2.6.36.

prior to upgrading my system had been functional for quite sometime.

i have libqt 4:4.7.3-8 installed and kde 4:4.5.3-0r1

any help would be appreciated.
