Subject: [mythtv-users] Trunk showstoppers?

I'm currently on .23.1 (Gentoo). I just purchased a HDHomeRun Prime, so
I'll need to be moving on up to a newer version. I'm tempted to jump to the
pre-.25, but I'm concerned about what still has to be fixed/added before
release. Where could I find the most current list of needed fixes? Should
I just sign up for the -dev mailing list and peruse it? I see the Trac list
- should I just look through the "Trunk Head" items to see what applies to
my system?

Also, should there be any problem with a jump from .23.1 to .25 directly?

Thanks in advance!

Since you have been using 0.23.1, a fixes branch, I would stick with that.
Mainline is great, don't get me wrong, but unless you are going to help out
bug triaging, I'd stick with .24-fixes. It also helps with the wife factor,
if you have one, knowing you can rely on it to stay up and not crash because
of a new feature that was just added that hasn't had all the bugs worked
out.
