FWIW, I'm using mythbuntu's packages.  I am at da10d33.

How recent?  I see some recent patches on that ticket, but no commit
notices/hashes on it.  I do see in github that he's been quite active in
the last couple of days though.  I'm updating to 8f37c6e in any case.
