[mythtv-users] is it really 29.97 fps or 24 fps?

I should have clarified, that when I am using mplayer, that's on a
computer with a DVI attached LCD monitor and that's where I actually
count 24 frames in every second (that mplayer's OSD displays).

But single stepping through a second of play on the same computer on
mythfrontend results in 30 frames per second of OSD display.
