[mythtv-users] VGA verses HDMI

I've got a 7 series Samsung LED and I've noticed a number of differences.

1. Initially I had the overscan issues with HDMI but the was an option in
the menus to stop this and I now get 1:1 with HDMI.

2. The blacks are blacker, and the white are whiter with HDMI. This might be
cable quality but I definitely get a better picture with HDMI.

3. This is the important one. Motion smoothing works with HDMI and is
disabled with VGA. Both are 60Hz inputs, but when I use VGA the TV disables
motion smoothing but with HDMI it's active and makes a difference especially
when wide shots pan.

Hope this helps.
