This may be not help, but the firmware was dvb-usb-af9015.fw-4.95.0 (which
is the recommended firmware for my device) but switching to the
dvb-usb-af9015.fw-4.65.0 firmware improved things a great deal. (Your
mileage may vary ;-])
There were two other versions of the firmware in between these releases, but
I haven't tried either.
