[mythtv-users] timezone problems connecting to remote backend

Hi All,

I'm trying to connect to the master myth backend using my laptop.
The problem is that my laptop runs opensuse, and the mythbox runs
gentoo.

It appears that the time zone syntax is different, and that is causing
mythtv to sulk

Is there an easy fix for this error?

2010-11-06 14:54:50.557 Time zone settings on the master backend differ
from those on this system.
2010-11-06 14:54:50.557 Detected time zone settings:
Master: Zone ID: 'EST5EDT', UTC Offset: '-14400', Current Time:
'2010-11-06T14:54:50'
Local: Zone ID: 'America/New_York', UTC Offset: '-14400', Current
Time: '2010-11-06T14:54:50'

2010-11-06 14:54:50.558 The time and/or time zone settings on this
system do not match those in use on the master backend. Please ensure
all frontend and backend systems are configured to use the same time
zone and have the current time properly set.
2010-11-06 14:54:50.558 Unable to run with invalid time settings.
Exiting.
2010-11-06 14:54:50.607 Deleting UPnP client...

Thanks

Jeff
