Indeed, I'd likely agree.  I just have not gone there yet.

Indeed it makes sense.  Makes sense is not always reason enough for
manufacturers to do the right though.  :-/

Bleah.  I can't imagine who would like this much over-saturation.

Ahhh.  I did consider that but the settings are the same on both the PC
designated DVI->HDMI input as the other two "normal" HDMI inputs.

I suspect, just like the PC HDMI doesn't overscan where the "normal"
inputs do, if there is a difference in the treatment of saturation, it's
being done internally.  :-(

Thanx for the suggestions though.
