After one hour of playback (720p OTA ATSC recorded stream) the max temp was 89c. Yes, I confirmed this should be degrees Celsius and not Fahrenheit.

The nvidia-settings GUI indicates 95c is the shut down temp. Clearly it's running warm but it's not close to a shut down.
