James,
Would a hvr-1950 serve your needs? Its not a network device, but it is
external and according to the wiki is supported for both analog and
digital. No idea if that is simultaneous.

Is there a device like the HDHomeRun that records analog cable? I would
like to rebuild my mythbackend and bring it up to the latest 0.23. The
last time I tried to rebuild it, using CentOS, I could not get my tuners
working with ivtv on the new system. (PVR 150/250/350).

I would also like to upgrade the hardware, preferably by buying a
prebuilt PC. Unfortunately they rarely have three PCI slots.

I've also had issues with bad recordings, which could be heat related,
or just problems with my cards, not sure.

It seems like an HDHomeRun type device could fix a few of my issues, but
I'm not on digital cable right now. I could record some things with OTA,
but I do record cable channels too.

I guess another option could be to get an HDHomeRun for recording shows
from ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX on OTA digital and use my current cards for cable
channels.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
James
