[mythtv-users] Not getting GT220 Max Resolution

The TV will present a list of its allowable resolutions to the computer 
via the 9-pin VGA cable, the DVI cable, or the HDMI cable.  If you've set 
up your system to automatically choose from the available resolutions, 
this is the list it chooses from.  Alternatively, you can overwrite the 
resolution/scan rate settings in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file by manually 
configuring the modelines sections in this file.

Note that the list of allowable resolutions may be different depending on 
how you connect to your mythtv system.  For example, my Sone TV will not 
do "native" (=LCD panel) resolution at 50Hz via the VGA 9-pin connector, 
but iot is quite happy to do 50Hz via the HDMI connector.  Go figure!
