My hdpvr works with Mythdora, but I don't use the blaster (I have a MyBlaster), so I can't speak to that.

Funny, I tend to think of anyone who has been using Linux (only) since 2000 as "new to Linux", but I keep forgetting it's 
2010 now :-)
