I have to reboot the machine regularly anyway (due do issues with my  
CAM no longer decrypting channels after running 1-3 days). I also have  
daily MySQL optimizations running.
But the defragmentation sounds promising. The fragmentation factors on  
my two XFS partitions were over 99%, the defragmentation is currently  
running. I will report back if that helped anything.
