I have seen this with 22-fixes. I also run XFS for recordings. 3 things to check. Try a reboot. Run the MySQL optimize script for mythtv (not sure if it is still valid for 23-fixes). Defrag the XFS file system.
I think the XFS defrag was the final fix, my recordings disk was nearly out of space when I ran into these problems.
