The LTS->LTS upgrade is something I think I'm going to attempt. This weekend
I updated my backend from Gutsy to Hardy and it went off without a hitch. I
was mistaken in my original post, as now all of my myth related systems are
on Hardy (8.04). Of course I will be doing a full database backup, but in
general the only thing that never works after an upgrade for me has been my
firefly remotes on non-standard channels.

I remember reading on the list somewhere that Lucid has "0.23" only in name,
in that it was a recent SVN checkout and not the actual released version. My
plan then is to do the upgrades across the board then add in the MythBuntu
repos to get up to where I should be with Myth. If this isn't the case
please speak up, because I certainly could have been misreading the post in
question.

Once this is all done, I'm hoping to talk the wife into an HDPVR and the
associated video cards, etc....
