Hello,
just as an information. I run MythTV trunk 23233 on Gentoo. I have not set
any environmental variables for MYthTV. I only start pulseaudio as a user
after login into KDE with "/usr/bin/pulseaudio". I have no problems with
pulseaudio whatsoever. I use the settings AudioOutputDevice="ALSA:pulse"
and PassThruOutputDevice="PulseAudio:default".
