[mythtv-users] Having serious signal quality issues with HDHR

Hi all,

I am really hoping that someone could help me as I have run out of idea
of what to do!

I am using an HDHR to tune the ClearQAM of my Extended Basic cable in
San Jose, CA. Recently, I found out that a lot of the channels are
getting very poor signal quality (no sound, serious pixalization). The
problem does not happen on all channels with the same tuner just some
(but enough). MythTV reports 84% signal quality and has no problems
getting locks but the quality is horrible.

I have tried to rescan using scte65scan and add the new results but
that did not help at all. I've also updated the HDHR to the latest
firmware. That also did not help.

While tuned to a channel with bad reception, the backend is logging the
following messages:

2010-01-22 20:45:57.520 HDHRSH(10184401-0): RunTS(): data_length = 2632 remainder = 188
2010-01-22 20:45:58.340 HDHRSH(10184401-0): RunTS(): data_length = 1316 remainder = 188
2010-01-22 20:45:59.261 HDHRSH(10184401-0): RunTS(): data_length = 2632 remainder = 188
2010-01-22 20:45:59.975 HDHRSH(10184401-0): RunTS(): data_length = 5264 remainder = 188

I know it is not the signal itself because my TV is directly connected
to the cable and it can tune the channels just fine. I have not been
able to find any information on this on either the MythTV Users mailing
list or the HDHR forums.

Can anyone help?
