Right -- Although I would think using the encoder maybe sacrifices some quality for low-cpu usage vs.
better quality for a direct non-mpeg hardware encoded stream that's then run through the user's choice of encoder (in software on the CPU).

I know it's a single input at a time -- Tuner|Composite|S-Video.

I was only curious if the Tuner went through the MPEG encoder. But the fact that
all the inputs get routed through the encoder (one at a time) gives the card some additional life-span.
