I just upgraded to 0.22. On your old systems, you may be able to save
some money by just replacing the graphics cards. I dumped a 9500GT
PCI card into an old Asus Pundit and it works like a charm with VDPAU
and an HDPVR, CPU utilization during playback is 10%. I have one HD
Homerun, 1 HDPVR and a couple of old analog tuners. The HD stuff
coming off of DirecTV looks really good and I'm happy as a clam. The
wife and I fought over our favorite themes for the past week, but we
finally compromised on Terra. I like the bling of Graphite, she
likes the old familiar interface of MythCenter... On the HDPVR's,
live TV is a challenge for me, it fails here and there, but for just
recording, it's rock solid so far.
