Yeah, I evidentally started drinking early that day.  Man I'm glad I
just re-checked one of them.  I have been brewing over this for a
couple of months to find out I was just confusing it with some other
machine here somewhere :)

Yeah, I am referring to selling the whole pc..  Since they did not
come with installation media, and I did not want to waste space on
another machine, I just compressed, and then resized it.  I did not
look closely at the "vista loader" partition on it, but I assume it is
a quick factory restore partition.  In that case, I could delete the
entire XP install, but I played it safe since I did not know I was
going to keep it at the time..  I'm happy with everything except the
"very" non-uniform performance when resuming play from fast forward or
rewind.  I am currently trying differing nice levels on lirc, and
mythfrontend trying to get it somewhat predictable.  My family is used
to getting within 10 seconds of the spot they want with our other
dvrs, but the slow machine (I guess it is to blame) sometimes misses
by 3 minutes, while sometimes it is spot on..
