[mythtv-users] Hauppauge HVR-4000: Hardware encode for composite/S-video input?

Does anyone know whether the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 card has a hardware MPEG-2 encoder for the composite/S-video input?

I'm looking to capture output from my cable STB via the card's composite video input and a h/w MPEG encoder would be useful.

Information found on the net is contradictory on this point, hence this mail.
